Company continues to scale globally by expanding EMEA leadership ranks

LONDON, U.K. (September 23, 2020)—Lighthouse, a leader in technology-enabled eDiscovery, compliance and information governance services, today announced that industry veteran, Michael Brown, has been promoted to managing director of sales in EMEA. In this new role, Brown will lead a seasoned team of experts providing strategic consulting to large European companies and law firms in the area of information governance, compliance, investigations and eDiscovery. Brown brings 20 years of in-house and consultancy experience in legal technology to his new role and is positioned to help Lighthouse expand its footprint in EMEA and beyond. Brown has a proven track record in helping corporations implement information governance programs and achieve greater efficiencies, especially when managing complex disputes across the region.

"Lighthouse's investment in growing its European leadership team demonstrates our motivation to take advantage of the market opportunities ahead," said Martin Carey, managing director of Europe at Lighthouse. "Mike will play a key role in our growth as a business overall, in the U.K., Switzerland, and across the EMEA market, increasing our ability to work with global corporations and driving better alignment with our company goals and our clients' needs."

Brown is only the latest addition to Lighthouse's global leadership roster, following the promotion of Dimitar Bobev to executive director of Global Advisory Services earlier this year. Bobev is located in Lighthouse's Zürich office and leads the consultancy arm and client project delivery for information risk management, enterprise data services and digital forensics. These recent additions to Lighthouse's global leadership presence underpin the company's commitment to continue to grow within the industry and across geographies.

Prior to Lighthouse, Brown was a founding member of Epiq's European business, helping to establish their London and Brussels operations. He was on the Regional Executive Committee at Control Risks where he headed up the legal technology division in Europe. More recently, he was director at Alix Partners in London.

Brown received his degree in Business Information Systems at Nottingham Trent University.
