Lighthouse Releases New Chat Messaging Capabilities to Chat eDiscovery
September 24, 2018
Company unveils new chat solution features, which offer clients more speed, reliability, flexibility and accuracy.
Lighthouse, a leader in technology-enabled eDiscovery and advisory services, today announced the latest updates to Chat eDiscovery, its unrivaled chat messaging tool. Updated features to Lighthouse's Chat eDiscovery will continue to elevate the client experience with more speed, reliability, flexibility, enhanced accuracy, and further support for emerging chat messaging platforms.
"The latest release of Chat eDiscovery dramatically improves versatility of the tool and allows for more scalable workflow processes," said Dimitar Bobev, managing director, Lighthouse Switzerland. "It provides substantial flexibility and customization on a matter-by-matter basis and further broadens the scope of supported chat messaging platforms, as well as our ability to swiftly process new data types."
Included in the latest solution update, is a proprietary collection tool for the Telegram chat messaging platform data and Telegram Channels communications which, due to their self-destructingmessages, have been especially concerning for clients, particularly those inhighly regulated industries. The ability to collect and analyze these challenging data types is a significant differentiator, as Lighthouse is the first provider to offer this capability.
This update to Chat eDiscovery delivers:
Plugin system—Allows for updates to be easily integrated on the backend, expediting Lighthouse's ability to respond to client requirements regarding new chat message types.
Case-level configuration —Provides easy customization of settings for the tool on a case-by-case basis, giving more and faster control over datapre-processing, deduplication and output specifications.
This latest update to Lighthouse's comprehensive chat message processing and review solution, Chat eDiscovery, is exclusively provided by Lighthouse. The software was acquired by Lighthouse during the acquisition of Forexus, a provider of consulting services and chat processing software located in Zurich, Switzerland, in March of 2018.
Chat eDiscovery has the ability to review messages from any chat platform, including Thomson Reuters Messenger, MindAlign, Interchange, Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business, Yahoo, MSN, WhatsApp, WeChat, Google Hangouts, and, most recently, Telegram.
