Lighthouse, a leader in technology-enabled eDiscovery, compliance, and information governance services, today announced it won the Compliance & Privacy Trailblazer award for its Copilot for Microsoft 365 offering at the Microsoft Security Excellence Awards 2024. This is the third year in a row that Lighthouse has received a MISA Excellence Award. The company’s launch of its Copilot offering, and its continued innovation and achievements around data security over the past 12 months have further elevated and distinguished it within the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA), an ecosystem of independent software vendors (ISVs) and managed security service providers (MSSPs) that have integrated their security products and services with Microsoft Security technology.

Award winners demonstrated excellence across security, identity, management, compliance, and privacy during the past 12 months.

“We’re thrilled that Lighthouse continues to be recognized with a Microsoft Security Excellence Award, this year specifically due to our Copilot for Microsoft 365 offer,” said Jamie Brown, Vice President, Global Advisory Services. “Drawing on our unmatched, deep familiarity with generative AI in the compliance and legal technology space, we are the first partner to develop a legal and compliance Copilot solution. Lighthouse’s Gen AI Assessment for Copilot will ensure that organizations implement Copilot in a legally defensible and complaint manner that mitigates legal, privacy and compliance risks."

“Thanks to the Microsoft and MISA teams for recognizing Lighthouse’s dedicated efforts to helping our clients build out their information governance programs so they can maximize their investment in technology and licensing to facilitate secure and compliant enablement of generative AI within their organizations," said Chris Baird, Lighthouse Copilot leader. "With more than 25 years of partnership with Microsoft and 5+ years of generative AI experience using Large Language Models for legal, our team is equipped to provide companies the playbook for implementing Copilot to keep up in a secure, compliant, eDiscovery friendly manner."
