Debora Motyka Jones Promoted to Vice President of Eastern Region at Lighthouse

Company promotes integral member of leadership team to head East Coast sales and operations.
Lighthouse, a leader in technology-enabled eDiscovery and consulting services, today announced that Debora Motyka Jones has been promoted to vice president of Lighthouse's Eastern Region. In this new role, Jones will lead East Coast operations and sales by continuing to build a robust team of legal and technology experts, driving forward partnerships focused on delighting clients while meeting their needs, and expanding the company's brand through thought leadership events.

Jones has been with Lighthouse since 2009, and since then, has continued to make a positive impact on the company's overall business strategy and results. Some of her most notable contributions include the implementation of a client advisory board, the creation of various avenues of market feedback that influence Lighthouse's strategy, the development and launch of Lighthouse's SmartSeries, the management of the company's strategic partnerships with kCura and Equivio, and the formation of the New York office and team. In addition, she recently helped form Lighthouse's Women LEAD group, which was created to facilitate interactions and organize activities that support the conversation on the subject of women and leadership, as well as promote the development of women leadership at Lighthouse.

Jones also brings her extensive legal background to the table at Lighthouse. She has worked on multi-million-dollar commercial and securities litigation, internal investigations, as well as legal malpractice defense. She is actively involved in the legal community as the former Director of Women in eDiscovery, as a mentor with Mother Attorneys Mentoring Association of Seattle, as an Advisory Board Member for the Organization of Legal Professionals, as the former Chair of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC)'s New to In-House Committee, and as a former board member of the Washington Women Lawyers (WWL). In addition, she is a frequent speaker on eDiscovery strategy, an instructor for the Organization of Legal Professionals, and a regular Lighthouse blog contributor.
