The burden of an unexpected ediscovery matter can create major challenges for any corporation. Evaluating the important differences between insourcing, outsourcing, and formulating strategies around people, processes, and technology is complicated. Time restrictions and planning create an additional obstacle for clients during this already demanding matter.

Our Program Operation Consulting Services help to reduce these challenges. By discussing and strategizing with clients, our consultants work to create a more efficient and effective ediscovery program.  Lighthouse is committed to improving our client’s ediscovery process, and because of this we have been able to form meaningful and lasting impacts with every consulting relationship we have.  Additional services include:

  • Staff Augmentation – We help fill any ediscovery function with boots on the ground whether contracting or sending consultants onsite to oversee implementation.
  • Enterprise Migration – Lighthouse has a proven migration framework to reduce risk, from initial strategies to architecting the final product. We have particular expertise with legacy systems and M&A integration.
  • Technology Assessment & RFP Support – Consulting with clients can dramatically ease procurement processes through a carefully designed selection process.  This includes drafting RFP’s, blind RFI’s, narrowing candidates, negotiating support, and proof of concept and acceptance testing.
  • Legacy Media and Data Remediation – Lighthouse will assist the client with evaluating their current data and media retention plans.  Following the evaluation, we will work with the client and outside counsel to provide and implement recommended strategies.  We will also assist the client with evaluating the current issues and needs around the legacy tape archives.  Lighthouse will put forth recommendations and processes to triage the current volume of legacy media, determine the types of data on the legacy media as compared to current active data, and assist in determining what can be destroyed. Additionally, Lighthouse will work with an outside counsel of the client’s choosing to assist with the data retention and data remediation project(s).  However, we do not offer any legal opinions, so it will be required to work with an outside counsel to render any legal opinions.  Finally, we can provide technical opinions to support the appropriate course of action.
