Combination of augmentations and deep expertise provide clients with the most advanced and efficient Relativity experience on the market.

SEATTLE, WA (June 19, 2014)—Lighthouse, a leader in technology-enabled eDiscovery services, today announced that the company has launched Relativity Powered by Lighthouse, a suite of custom features, solutions, advanced review applications, and expert guidance based around kCura's Relativity review platform. These innovations extend the power of the industry-leading review platform by improving review efficiency and reducing review spend for clients.

Lighthouse leveraged Relativity's open API to build the following custom features, not present in out-of-the-box Relativity, that are now part of the company's standard database template for clients to incorporate into their review process case-over-case:

  • Communication Center enables reviewers and administrators to communicate in real time within the review tool, improving efficiency, consistency, and access to key case knowledge.
  • Document Repository allows for storing of key case documentation, like the complaint, review protocol, or ESI agreements, directly in the database in a repository that's separate from data for review.
  • Auto-Sampling works in tandem with Relativity auto-batching to reduce manual work and ensure a clean, efficient QC workflow.
  • Enhanced Reporting extends Relativity's built-in reporting for deeper insight into review metrics and user activity and savings on time and review spend.


Premium features of Relativity Powered by Lighthouse include highly innovative review applications and custom workflows built upon Relativity, such as the Lighthouse SmartSeries, to reduce the amount of documents requiring human review and improve the speed and consistency of human review. The SmartSeries reduces clients' overall review costs by as much as 60 percent.

Relativity Powered by Lighthouse is backed by a dedicated Hosted Solutions team comprised of Relativity Certified Administrators, attorneys, former paralegals, law clerks, and SQL DBAs, offering a wide range of expertise in review strategy consultation and database administration. The Hosted Solutions team works staggered hours throughout the day to ensure review teams have constant review and troubleshooting support.
